About me

Welcome to my website! I am a first-year PhD student at the University of Groningen, and I am interested in a variety of topics in cognitive (neuro)science. Learning and memory, attention and perception are fields that trigger my interest in particular. In my PhD project, which is supervised by Hedderik van Rijn and Florian Sense, I am examining ways to improve second language learning using pronunciation-based, adaptive memory algorithms. You can read more about my PhD project here

Next to my interests in cognitive neuroscience research, I am interested in philosophy of cognitive science and in the communication of science to the general public.
